Deception Pass Ink, 50ml
$15.00
Deception Pass is a chroma-shading green and blue fountain pen ink. When writing with a dryer pen, the line will generally appear to be a simple green color. With a very wet pen or heavy strokes from a dip pen, this ink produces an interesting mix of blue and bright green shades. Swatches of Deception Pass often start off deceptively blue before drying down to green.

Deception Pass State Park and the Pass itself are found at the northern end of Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound, about 80 miles north of Seattle. Two bridges span the pass between the island and the mainland, overlooking the swirling tidal waters and forested, rocky shores. One of my favorite spots for a good walk and a picnic.
Although no hazardous materials are used in the production of these inks, they should not be consumed. Keep inks out of the reach of children.

CH Kim –
This ink shot up to the top of my favorite blues list (and there’s some stiff competition!). The range of shading is just extraordinary and I don’t think there’s anything else in the market that delivers the stunning gold-green on blue chromashading that this ink offers. It really captures the rich green/blue summery ocean color. I might have to get another bottle just to make sure I have a lifetime stock!
Drew Wertheimer –
This was one of my first chroma-shading inks, but I loaded it up in my Lamy 2000 and have been greatly enjoying the results. Everything about Wet Pen Inks is a wonderful experience. This is just a short review as I want to go back to writing with this lovely ink. Somehow I can almost picture autumn or spring as I’m writing. I am looking forward to trying this next on some Tomoe River paper.
I am sure you will equally enjoy this ink experience!
