Blackberry Ink, 50ml

Description

Blackberry is a magenta-purple ink, leaning more red on some papers (Yu Sari, Midori, Rhodia) and more violet on papers such as Tomoe River, Iroful and Cosmo. Although this is not a sheening ink, a hint of bronze sheen may appear in heavy swatches.

Although no hazardous materials are used in the production of these inks, they should not be consumed. Keep inks out of the reach of children.

Those of you who are familiar with Western Washington know that blackberry bushes are everywhere. The invasive Himalayan vines thrive in our forests, line the roads and highways, and are a constant threat to creep into our yards.  We also have a diminutive native species, though, that ripens in early July and is excellent for pies and pancakes. Both species have wonderful berries.
